Blair DMK Std started as a simple personal project: my own take on the classic 1900 typeface Blair, specifically built with Cyrillic support to create a Russified cover of Quantum Supremacy. Since then, it has grown into a comprehensive, multi-script display font.
Built as a unicase powerhouse for bold headers and industrial layouts, it now fully supports hundreds of languages across the Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek alphabets. It seamlessly handles Western European staples (Français, Español, Deutsch, Italiano) alongside a massive Extended Latin block featuring Polski, Magyar, Català, Čeština, Türkçe, and the Baltic languages. The Cyrillic architecture goes far beyond Русский, Українська, Беларуская, and Монгол to fully support Central Asian, regional, and Southern Slavic languages including Қазақ, Кыргыз, Тоҷикӣ, Татар, Башҡорт, Түркмен, Српски, Македонски, and Молдовеняскэ.
Topped off with full monotonic Modern Greek (Ελληνικά) and custom OpenType ligatures for Latin Uzbek (Oʻzbekcha), it is engineered for uncompromised global deployment.
Blair DMK is distributed under the SIL Open Font License (OFL) and remains completely free for personal and commercial use. But I'd appreciate if you can buy me a coffee or drop me a line on how you use it.
