Privacy Policy
This is a personal website. There's no ad network, no mailing list, no user accounts, and nothing here is sold or shared with third parties. This page exists mainly to be transparent about the few things that do happen behind the scenes.
Analytics
This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect personally identifying information. It also uses Google Analytics, which does use cookies and processes some identifying information — such as IP address and browser/device details — to generate traffic reports. You can opt out of Google Analytics using a browser extension like Google's own opt-out add-on, or by blocking third-party scripts and cookies in your browser.
Cookies and local storage
This site doesn't set any tracking cookies of its own. Your dark or light theme preference is saved in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to this or any other server.
Search
The search box sends the text you type to this site's own server to look up matching blog posts. Nothing you search for is logged, stored, or shared.
Contact
If you email or message me directly through one of the contact links on this site, I'll have whatever information you chose to send — nothing more, and it isn't shared with anyone else.
Third-party links
Many pages here link out to other sites — movies, fonts, articles, social profiles, and so on. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and I'm not responsible for them. Once you leave dimka.com, that site's own policy applies.
Changes
This policy may be updated occasionally as the site itself changes. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top.
